Playing basketball inside is a lot of fun with a basketball arcade.
Want a game that you can play for hours on end with your kids? A basketball arcade will fill that need pretty easily. Assuming your kids are at least 5 years old or older, a basketball arcade is a great choice for the home as they can throw the balls up towards the hoop fairly easily - younger kids might struggle.
If you have somewhere outside that you can install a full basketball hoop, then that’s a great choice. Our home simply doesn’t allow for us to have such a hoop even though we would certainly love it. The next best thing for those that enjoy basketball is a basketball arcade game.
The basketball arcade is a lot of fun because it has several games built right into it while also allowing for just shooting the ball into the hoop. If your kids want to play by themselves, there’s no issue letting them just throw the ball in the hoop (or if you want to practice up a little bit then you can play on your own as well). There’s no need for having more than one person to play.
Of course, the most fun with a basketball arcade is playing together. Get both players going and see who can score the most points. If you have a younger child that can’t play on their own just yet, then you can help assist them against an older child. While you may be beating your child at the game to start, you’ll probably find that you’ll soon be losing to them if they keep practicing.
One of the other reasons that the basketball arcade is so much fun is that you can use each hand to shoot the balls. Throw them up very quickly and try to practice with your off hand to get better. There’s something very rewarding about being able to score a bucket with your non-dominant hand.
The basketball arcade is also one of those games that keeps you fairly active and moving. Unlike video games and board games (which are also a lot of fun), you’re going to have to get your upper body into this game and you’re not sitting around the whole time. There’s always the added benefit to keeping active and moving as part of the activities you enjoy with your kids.
Arcade basketball can get pretty competitive. If you’re playing against your partner, or an older child, things may get a little heated - that’s all part of the fun though. It’s hard to cheat in arcade basketball though so let the best (or luckiest) player win when it comes down to it. The games don’t have to be competitive though - throw a few balls in for your child if they are struggling every now and then.
If you’re looking for a fun and simple indoor activity, enjoy basketball indoors with an arcade machine. You may find that your child is better than you, and you enjoy it more than you might have thought. Buy one now.
